    Stephen Robinson Spinet after Thomas Hitchcock with stand (no. 27) based on Thomas Hitchcock's spinet in the Russell Collection, Edinburgh University. Dated 2021, this is a brand new instrument straight from Stephen's workshop in England, beautifully hand-crafted from solid woods throughout and with stunning attention to detail. This spinet is made along traditional lines but with the added benefit of being transposing (playing at a440 and a415). Five octave compass GG-g3; 61 notes. One set of strings, 8'. Case exterior veneered in walnut; interior veneered in figured walnut with ash herringbone inlay like the original. Includes turned walnut stand based on an original Hitchcock stand.
