Symphony 501S Garklein Recorder by Aulos. Aulos are one of the major names in plastic recorders and the first manufacturer to successfully make a recorder from ABS synthetic resin. The 500 Symphony series is more faithful to historic designs and provides players with an inexpensive instrument of highly quality, with good intonation and response. This recorder is in one piece with single holes and is supplied with a brown case and fingering chart.

This Renaissance model is based on drawings taken from 'Syntagma Musicum' (1618) by Michael Praetorius. Kobliczek recorders are made by German maker Christoph Hammann and his team. These renaissance recorders have large cylindrical bores which produce a characteristically strong tone. Made from stained maple, this recorder has excellent intonation over a full two octave range.
