This rare single manual harpsichord by Perkins & Gotto of Norwich, after Thomas Barton 1709, was specially-built for Harrogate College in 1980. The majority of the instrument's manufacture was carried out by Gotto & Perkins, except for the fitting of wrestpins, as well as the stringing and tuning upon completion of the kit.
