Aura Conservatorium Knick Bass Recorder in Pearwood
The Conservatorium recorders by Aura are made in the Coolsma workshops in the Netherlands. They are based on Bressan recorders, with a curved, highly conical windway which produces a broad, rich sound. This Conservatorium knick bass recorder is made of pearwood and is thumb-bushed. The double F/F# bottom key and middle C/B keys helps players play the bass in comfort without large finger stretches. The 'knick' creates a more comfortable hold allowing the arms to be close to the body, whilst still projecting the sound outwards.
This recorder comes with a hard case, cleaning stick, cork grease and a fingering chart.
