This grenadilla alto by Von Huene is a stunningly powerful instrument made by one of the world's most renowned recorder workshops. Handcrafted in the USA, Von Huene recorders are celebrated for their exquisite attention to detail and this alto, based on an original by Stanesby Junior, is no exception.
A beautiful instrument in ebony, this alto by Guido Klemisch is a rare opportunity to own an instrument of the highest quality. This a415 instrument comes with a corps de réchange, a second body and footjoint, transforming it into an a400 alto with single holes. Guido Klemisch is a maker of recorders and other woodwinds based in Germany.
A very rare chance to acquire an instrument by Michael Grinter, the Australian recorder and flute maker whose life was tragically cut short in 2018. This grenadilla alto is in excellent condition and would make a fantastic addition to any player's recorder collection.
American recorder maker Thomas Prescott recently retired from instrument making, which means this instrument is not likely to hang around for long! This stunning Ganassi-style transitional recorder has a wide bore and thus a very strong sound; as is typical of Prescott's work, the craftsmanship is exceptional.
These instruments are just four from our large range of Previously Owned recorders. Click the image above to explore the full collection and perhaps you'll discover your next instrument amongst them...
