Early Music @ 1 - Thursday 23rd April

We're delighted to welcome back Fiona Kizzie Lee who is joined by special guest Amy Farnell! Fiona and Amy work together in La Fiamma, they were finalists in last year's York Early Music International Young Artists Competition and semi-finalists of the Internationaal Van Wassenaer Concours in Utrecht. The pieces featured in today's video are "Istampita Ghaetta" from a medieval Tuscan manuscript, "Duo" by Agricola (and Ghiselin) and "Stella celi extirpavit" from the Ritson Manuscript.

Fiona is currently studying for a second master’s degree specialising in Renaissance Music at Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Corina Marti. She plays the recorder and medieval keyboards in groups such as La Fiamma and L’Artiste.
