Exactly what I was looking for. And the tunes are all nice. Different enough from one another that I can play them all in a session.

Perfect for my purposes

I have an abiding affection for medieval music. I also have brought my recorders out of retirement and decided to “ warm” up with this collection. It is perfect for my purposes.

Brilliant music books!!

This series of books is incredible. Just the history of the music is amazing. With the actual music it's priceless. There is so much work that went into making these. My hat's off to the author. Plus, you can play all the tunes with a recorder or 3 octave harp. (obviously other instruments also, but often it's difficult to find music books that accomodate instruments that are somewhat limited in range.)

living history tune book 1 vol 1 & 2

I was very pleased with the tunes included considering the scarcity of music of the Medieval period. Also, there were selections I can listen.to on YouTube. Very helpfull.
