Erik Martens Alto Chalumeau in F (Previously Owned) in 'as new' condition.
This chalumeau by English maker Erik Martens is keyless, with a parallel bore and is fitted with a modern plastic Yamaha Eb mouthpiece. The sound is mellow and an octave lower than that of an alto recorder. The wood used is sycamore.
Supplied with reed and cloth bag. Cotton thread is used to hold the reed onto the mouthpiece, as it would have been done on the original instruments.
