Cip Bladder Pipe in C (1 octave)
Cip bladder pipe in c 1 octave. An authentic bladder pipe made by Czech maker Pavel Cip. This is a reconstruction of an extinct woodwind instrument, testified by many iconographic and literary sources. The instrument has a windcap, which at the same time serves as an air reservoir, allowing a continuous tone during playing. The original instrument would have been made with a tanned pig's bladder but the reproduction has a bag made from fine leather. The instrument is furnished with a single reed and it has a diatonic scale with a range of a ninth. Key: C major (Scale: c - d1; a1 = 440 Hz). Simple model, no drone.
