Zen On G1A a415 Bressan Alto Recorder

I have not played on a 415 instrument before but am impressed. This has a beautiful tone and speaks clearly. It plays well with Bach or Loeillet or Telemann as per the standard but I also think it plays folk and contemporary with pleasing voice. It is a pleasure to play.

The Zen On 415 is quite disappointing

The tone is good and there are no intonation issues. However, all notes above the high D have a rather poor sound. There are some clashing harmonics and the sound threatens to break up. My group plays baroque trio sonatas which often have high E, F and G in them, so we are having to go back to 440 tuning because of the poor sound.

Very nice plastic recorder sound. The best plastic recorder i have.

Zenon g1a a415 alto recorder

Have used for a couple of weeks now. It has an excellent tone and speaks very quickly.. High notes are easy to play without having to use a lot more air through the instrument.. Very happy with it.
