Gather your friends as we would love to hear some of the amazing recorder groups in which you all play...
You choose the music – be as adventurous as you wish! So long as the recording contains at least three recorder parts, it will be eligible to be considered. If you don't have a group, why not consider multi-tracking yourself playing all the parts of a piece?! We've already received some great multi-tracked entries to other Recorder31 competitions and this approach is welcome here too.
We will be looking for communication, intonation and, most importantly, a shared sense of musical direction.
We look forward to hearing your groups!

This week's prize is a full consort of six Triebert recorders! This fantastic package contains all the sizes in the range: garklein, sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor and bass. The Triebert recorders are exclusive to The Early Music Shop and they offer top-quality instruments which deliver a rich body of sound, while providing the convenience of durable, maintenance-free resin. They have a typically easy response and excellent intonation. All six recorders are supplied in attractive leatherette cases with joint grease and cleaning pull-through.
There is one full consort of instruments available for the winning group. We'll ask that group to nominate one member to whom we send the instruments, and from there, you are welcome to divide them between the members however you decide!
