Von Huene Denner Baroque Flute (a415) in European Boxwood

Some years ago when Friedrich von Huene asked Barthold Kuijken what he would consider the 'quintessential' baroque flute, Kuijken suggested that he should copy the Jacob Denner traverso in the Germanisches Nationalmusem, Nuremberg. Our copy is based very closely on the original. Available at a=415 only, the flute is made of European boxwood stained dark with Denner's elegant minimalist turning, and has a white bronze key (looks like silver but sturdier and tarnish resistant). The model has a powerful, focused sound in the low and middle register and responds easily up to A6 (with a particularly good F6). It has exceptionally good intonation and is ideal for the works of Telemann and JS Bach.
