Terry Mann Tabor Pipe in D - a traditional handmade tabor pipe in maple by Terry Mann and based on the pipes found in the wreck of the Mary Rose (Henry VIII's favourite warship).

Fingering Chart

The Mary Rose was a carrack-type warship of the English Tudor navy of King Henry VIII. After serving for 33 years in several wars against France, Scotland, and Brittany and after being substantially rebuilt in 1536, she saw her last action on 19 July 1545 where she sank in battle and remained undiscovered until 1965 and finally raised from the depths in 1982. Amongst many of the items recovered from the Mary Rose were a large collection of early woodwind instruments.
