Takeyama Alto Recorder in Boxwood a=442
Takeyama Alto Recorder in Boxwood a442
This alto recorder is made in the Takeyama workshops in Japan. It is made of stained Brazilian boxwood and pitched at a442.
This is a very light weight instrument and is extremely responsive to play. The boxwood produces a warm tone, giving it a more weighty sound than the maple alto. It is an ideal alto recorder for ensemble and occasional solo playing. This recorder plays evenly across the whole register. Its responsiveness is well suited to fast passage work!
