Tabor Pipe in Low D by Malvern Minstrelsy

This is a very handsome instrument, easy to hold, and a nice, bright tone on most of the notes. I do find it a bit sensitive on certain notes, especially the sixth above the tonic (B on this instrument), so that it’s sometimes difficult to produce a solid tone at the right pitch. This might be a simple matter of getting used to the instrument. My other two tabor pipes (G and high D) are by Yuri Terenyi, and I don’t remember having this problem with them. But otherwise, it’s a very nice pipe!
