Sigo F bass recorder, baroque double hole, a442, Resona black with coloured ornamental ring set
While there are recorder models that are played today based on the ideas of historical instrument makers such as Rottenburgh, Denner, Kynseker, Bressan and others, Sigo goes its own way.
Sigo is a recorder model series developed in collaboration between Kunath Instrumentenbau and Geri Bollinger, one of Europe's leading recorder makers.
Compact
The Sigo Bass (in F) is characterised by its unprecedented compactness. The angled headjoint and the folded inner bore make the Sigo Bass particularly ergonomic to play. It can easily be set up on a chair or leg for playing while sitting. The bass can be held with a bass strap if required for playing while standing .
Finger stretch
'Finger stretch' means: how far I have to spread the fingers of one hand to reach the respective tone holes. The Sigo bass has the same grip width as a normal F-alto recorder. The tone holes (including the thumb hole) are played directly - the little finger of the right hand has a double key for f/f sharp.
Material
The body is made of RESONA, a material developed by Kunath Instrumentenbau from renewable raw materials.
The keys are made of brass.
