Pyramid chanterelle

Excellent string. Very happy at modern concert pitch due to its slightly thicker diameter and hence lasts longer unlike thinner Gs which can snap at higher tensions.

Pyramid Nylon Lute String 0.45R

This string was bought as a replacement (I bought two, one for each lute) for the first course (chanterelle) of both of my renaissance lutes. These strings are clear nylon and so far have been secure, strong and sound true.

Pyramid nylon for chantarelle.

For some reason, if I string my EMS lute with the first course Nylgut, like all the other courses, it breaks very quickly. This nylon one sounds perfectly at home with the rest, and lasts for ages. A good mix. And it's great that you can order single strings from EMS.
