Plastic redd

The reed works fine on my crumhorn, I was a little surprised and disappointed that the staple came without a cork or twining and I had tom add my own cork.At the price I expected better

Plastic Reed for a cornamuse

It arrived promptly, was v well packed, and has been successful installed with the aid of a hacksaw (The tube was too long for my instrument, better too long than too short!), button thread, and some candle wax to make a sliding seal. The Reed needs a consistent pressure to maintain that wonderful medieval sound, and it plays consistently even on long sessions. Overall I am v happy with my purchase. It should last for many years. Recommended.
