Technical but light-hearted

This is highly technical and gives details of adjustments I wouldn't be comfortable to attempt, but it is full of information and some of the more basic procedures are useful to know. The best part by far is Tim's tongue-in-cheek analogies, built on equal amounts of knowledge and dry wit. I'll probably never carry out most of the 'surgery' in this book, but it is worth reading just for the innate Tim-ness in the writing!
