Mollenhauer 5120 Denner soprano c'', palisander. A sophisticated ensemble set developed after original instruments of Jacob Denner (1681-1735) based in Nuremberg and Copenhagen. The soprano is a slim and charming instrument, with a clear and pleasant sound ideal for virtuosic music.

The Mollenhauer Denner series (soprano) won the highly acclaimed German Music Instrument award in 1999.

This recorder comes with a cotton bag with leather trim, cleaning rod and cloth, cork grease, fingering chart and maintenance/oiling instructions.

Very happy with this recorder

I’m still “playing it in,” but it is a joy to play and I look forward to playing it more. It has a lovely tone and it is a beautiful instrument. Peter was very helpful with customer service. Fast shipment.

Mollenhauer Denner Soprano Recorder in Paliisander

I have only had this recorder a few weeks so I'm still 'running' it in, so to speak. It is very comfortable to finger and I prefer a removable third joint so can I make adjustments for my little finger. The sound is already good and I'm sure that it will mellow over time.

Review of Mollenhauer Denner Soprano Recorder in Palisander

I was delighted with the service that I received from the early Music Shop Team. I had been thinking of upgrading my recorder to either Boxwood or Palisander and was not sure whether to go with Moeck or Mollenhauer. I spoke at length with the EMS's recorder expert who then selected 10 recorders for the technician to test and recommend the best recorder. I am extremely pleased with the Mollenhauer which has a lovely clear tone and effortlessly reaches the upper register as well as having a beautiful tone in the lower notes.
