The Moeck 1213 School Soprano Recorder is made of stained pearwood. Children can perceive the difference in the quality of tone between this wooden recorder and a plastic recorder. They can learn how to care for an instrument by carrying out the very simple maintenance required for this recorder. The School recorders by Moeck are impregnated with a paraffin wax so do not require oiling.
This recorder comes with a canvas case, cleaning rod and cloth, cork grease, a fingering chart and maintenance instructions.
