Lu-Mi Standard 7 String Bass Viol after Bertrand
The standard 7 string Bass Viol after Nicholas Bertrand (1704). This viol is modelled after a French bass viol by Bertrand and is particularly suitable for French baroque repertoire where a full, rich sound is required. Made from very high quality wood, these viols combine excellent craftsmanship with an appealing sound and a beautiful appearance. The ribs, back and neck are made of sycamore, the top of spruce, and the fingerboard and tailpiece of maple. The wood is fully kiln-dried for stability.
