King bass recorder thumbrest

Unfortunately a whole new two part rest had to be purchased as the original sliding section one had worked lose and parted company and been lost.

Kung adjustable thumb rest

It was fairly easy to fit the rest. It is important to know where the to fix the rest to the recorder (in my case, a wooden Tenor recorder). I experimented with a piece of cork and a rubber band to get the best position. Two short screws were provided loose in the packet and nearly got lost when the packet was first opened. It would have been better to have supplied the thumb rest and two screws in a small ziplock bag inside the packing. Once fitted, it was easy to adjust the height of the thumb rest via the side screw. It provides perfect stability and support for the instrument and is highly recommended. I have them fitted to two tenor recorders.
