Isaac Makhdoomi, Swiss recorder player with Indian roots, fulfilled a childhood dream in July 2022. Together with the proven baroque specialists from the Ensemble Piccante, he has recorded five flute concertos, an aria and arrangements of well-known Vivaldi works. Together with the Piccante Baroque Orchestra, Isaac Makhdoomi takes the listeners on a fiery virtuoso sound journey to the Venice of Il prete rosso. Like no other, Vivaldi helped the recorder to musical heights with his compositions for recorder. Stupendous runs alternate with beautifully sighing melodies, which not infrequently harbour a slight hint of the Orient.
