Great Lute

Very nice lute. Flawless craftsmanship. High quality case. The bundle is great and contains everything you need.

Brilliant beginners lute bundle (8 courses)

The lute is incredibly light and resonant. There are two tiny pinprick marks around the peg box, but I can't find any issues right now. I would like to know where it was made, but I couldn't find a label. The semi-rigid case is enough to protect and store the lute. I wouldn't cycle with it, since it has only one shoulder or crossbody strap (not backpack style), and it is an awkward shape to wear. The tuner works and is quite handy with so many strings. The TGI leather strap is beautifully made, but I would love to see some suggestions or instructions how to use it. The Welcome Pack from the Lute Suciety has lots of music and a journal. If you register as a new member (complementary with the bundle) you receive links to other pdfs for the whole trial year. I was initially a bit impatient with the EMS, since I didn't get any updates for a couple of days. Once the courier created the label, it was all very efficient and smooth.

First foray into Lute playing

As a long time Guitar player I decided to have a crack at the Lute, This bundle cvaught my eye and so I deciuded to go for it after advice from Early Music Shop staff. Vey pleased so far, the instrument has a lovely tone and appears to be very well made, also a first class setup was completed prior to shipping it to me. Highly recommended.

Great bundle!

This is a great bundle. I'm just a beginner and this is the perfect bundle. The lute is nicely made. Great quality. I like the sound. I have yet to go through the abundance of accompanying music. I'm just trying to learn right now. I love the publications. Being a newbie I broke my G (gut) probably from my initial bad tuning practices. But, the shop came to my rescue with a quick replacement string. They also have a variety of replacement strings (packages). Great stuff! Keep up the good work. Love your lute.
