Finger: Two Trio Sonatas

Among Finger's numerous chamber music works are several previously unnoticed trios for alto recorders and basso continuo. Two of these trios are presented here for the first time in a new edition. The selected sonatas are works that stand on a par with the best similar compositions by William Corbett, Gottfried Keller, Louis Henri Paisible and Daniel Purcell, written at roughly the same time in England. - Sonata Op. 6 no. 2 G minor - Sonata Op. 6 no. 6 in C minor
