Thanks to the Early Music Shop for having a wide range of new recorder music to try. Bought the Barsanti and found another piece by Bernadetto Marcello. Easier melodic flow to the Marcello.

This edition of Barsanti's Sonatas was recommended by my recorder tutor and I'm looking forward to studying them. The collection has a very comprehensive introductioni including information about the composer's life and times, how the works should be interpreted and lots of other interesting facts.
