Conservatorium Alto Recorder in Boxwood

I was lucky to win this recorder in the EMS recorder competition playing the Braun Sonata. A lovely recorder, the articulatory response is precise and has great clarity across all registers of the instrument. Timbrally boxwood is very expressive especially in producing soft and delicate sounds; yet still has the power to provide more forceful articulatory response contemporary repertoire. I must admit, now, I do have a preference for softer and more subtle refined expressivity which this instrument beautifully performs especially in my playing.
