The perfect varnished string

I’ve tried so many different strings over the years and I always come back to Aquila. They’re hardy, clear and settle pretty fast! I use the various gauges for baroque up to romantic period performance and love how speedy EMS sends them! 10/10

Aquila Baroque Violin 2nd/A Gut String

I’m very happy with this. Good value (enough length for two strings), really brings out the tone of my old Scottish fiddle, and is very stable in tuning.

Aquila Baroque Violin 2nd/A Gut String

By far my favourite e string. It is durable and has a beautiful light tone. It performs well under extreme climate conditions too. I have played in - 20 and + 30 and it has kept it's tuning well.
