Harpsichord repairs

Having watched Peter Barnes excellent YouTube presentation on how to replace a plectrum I ordered replacements. They were delivered very promptly and I was able to complete the repair easily. A very satisfied customer

Better suited to my spinet

These plectra are nice and flexible and require far less work to achieve a good tone, as opposed to "standard" plectra i bought elsewhere which needed lots of thinning. I am working on a spinet - perhaps the thicker plectra will suit higher string tensions in a full sized instrument

plectra for harpsichord and plastic jack tongue

Well it took a little while with the delivery, but after I asked it came rather quick. I bought 0,015 and 0,020 plectras and alas the 0,015 were too small for the jacks. They would stay in their place. But this I cant blame the product for (or Early Music Shop).
