Please contact us if you are interested in reserving. 10 Course Renaissance Lute after Tieffenbrucker by Matias Crom Inspired on the lute by Wendelin Tieffenbrucker in the "Cite de la Musique" museum in Paris. This maker was the "Stradivari" of lute making and this model is maybe the most iconic of lutes in present time. The original string length of 65cm makes a great 10 course lute. The neck and nut sizes were changed from the original 14 course lute to accommodate 10 courses. The bowl has 9 ribs of made either Maple and Pearwood with Ebony spacers. The top is made from the finest Austrian high mountain spruce with the original carved rose design. Neck core is also spruce veneered with maple with an ebony fingerboar. Please contact us if you are interested in reserving. 13 Course Baroque Lute after Tieffenbrucker by Matias Crom Baroque lute model inspired on a Tieffenbrucker using a "Martin Hoffman" style pegbox with extended string length for courses 9-13. String Length is 69cm making it very comfortable to play. The extended length for basses make the bass brighter and fuller and the "Swan neck" pegbox makes it easier to tune. Perfect for Weiss and Bach music, including continuo on the cantatas. String spacing at the bridge is 155mm. The bowl has 31 ribs and made from Maple and Pearwood with ebony spacers. The soundboard is made from the very best Austrian high mountain spruce with an original carved triple rose. Neck core is also spruce veneered with maple. Pegbox is carved from pearwood. Please contact us if you are interested in reserving. 14 Course Archlute (Liuto Attiorbato) after Sellas by Matias Crom and supplied with padded bag “Sellas” Liuto Attiorbato made after the originals of Matteo Sellas from the Cite de la Musique in Paris. The string length is 59/88 cm with single strings on the basses. The bowl is made from 15 ribs of maple and walnut, the top is high mountain Austrian spruce and the rose is the same as in the original instrument. This lute has a fast and bright sound, with powerful basses. It can also be played using single strings on the short pegbox, for continuo playing. It is a very popular instrument with players as you can play lute repertoire, basso continuo along with being light and easy to transport.     Baroque Guitar after Marianita by Matias Crom The "Marianita" is a 5 course baroque guitar inspired on the "Vihuela de Quito" with a playing string length of 68cm. The top is made from the finest mountain Austrian Spruce with the original purfling decoration and rose design. This simple yet elegant rose makes this guitar very resonant. Sides are made in 5 pieces using walnut and cypress and the back is coopered as many were from this period and made with 15 ribs of cypress with thin walnut spacers. The neck is carved from pearwood just like the original.     Violoncello after "Ornati" by Matias Crom, made from the finest Slovakian spruce and maple from Romania. Wittner tailpiece and ebony tuning pegs. Supplied with refurbished German bow and case. This "Santa Cecilia" violoncello has been made in the Italian tradition with the finest Slovakian spruce and maple. Matias studied luthiery from violin makers of the Cremona School. This instrument was made for a contest and was his exhibition instrument showcasing the finest quality of workmanship – i t is "one of the finest cellos" that he has made. Based on a Giuseppe Ornati (1887 – 1965) model, this cello is very easy to play across all registers.
