Serious studies that focus on key issues of technique.

After two weeks I'm still on page 1. Exercise one goes to the heart of breath-control across the range of the instrument. Exercise 2 deals with left hand thumb technique, including large interval slurs downwards between the registers. Ex. 3 treats velocity and stability, via scales. You get the idea. Not for the faint-hearted! Studying this book won't **** you but it should make you a better player. Totally recommended for the serious learner, but not for beginners.
