Our student 6 course lute is designed after an original by Hieber. It is an affordable, good-quality renaissance lute perfect for beginners. A 6 course lute is ideal for players wanting to explore early renaissance lute music. It is the perfect starter lute.

Our own range of lutes were completely re-designed in 2015. There were many issues with our old lutes, for example the string-spacing and action. These issues have been addressed with these new designs as well as further improvements made.
