Today we are listening to the Mollenhauer Denner Soprano in Tulipwood!

The dense nature of tulipwood gives this Denner model a remarkably vivid, colourful tone. In these audio samples, listen for the instrument’s effortless response across registers and its signature "reedy" sweetness—a hallmark of Denner’s refined windway design. It combines the piercing clarity needed for solo Baroque repertoire with a round, singing warmth that fills the room. Check out the audio clips below or follow this link to find out more about this instrument.
