Recorder31 Day 6 | Introducing our 60-Second Lessons

Exclusively for this year's Recorder31, we're delighted to present our brand new series of recorder tutorials: the 60-Second Lessons. These videos will be released throughout the month: the Recorder31 gift that keeps on giving!

Learn from the best in just one minute! We've teamed up with some highly-renowned recorder players and teachers to present the 60-Second Lessons. From technique ideas to practice tips, we hope these short videos will inspire you to try new ideas and enhance your recorder playing this August. Why not share how you get on by tagging us on social media with the hashtag #Recorder31 – we'd love to hear from you!

First up, we have Annabel Knight, who has some tips on how to produce a great sound on the recorder. Annabel leads the recorder department at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and performs with, among many others, her ensembles Passacaglia and Fontanella Recorder Quintet.

,

Coming up later in August: 60-Second Lessons from Piers Adams, Stefan Temmingh, Erik Bosgraaf, Nura Natour, Juho Myllylä, Kate Allsop and more! The rest of the 60-Second Lessons will be added to this page (and our social media) so check back soon...
