Last year during Recorder31 we launched the J. Wood alto recorder, a high-quality yet affordable instrument in maple wood. Today, we're excited to announce that we're adding to the range with a brand-new tenor recorder.

Made in Germany, the J. Wood tenor recorder in maple is an affordable, high quality instrument which delivers a rich body of sound, with an easy response and excellent intonation. The recorder is supplied in an attractive fabric case with a fingering chart and cleaning mop.

This is one of the most inexpensive wooden tenors on the market, yet it produces a remarkably strong sound with rich overtones and a strong low register. The robust double key provides full chromatic playability and the finger holes are angled for maximum player comfort.
