This week it's soprano week and we're including all the small recorders, so that's sopranos (descants), sopranos and garkleins!
Mary-Jannet Leith introduces the soprano recorder for us and takes us through its history and the developments in its design. She introduces her csakan, an instrument which is often called "the romantic recorder", and performs the Allegro movement from Anton Herberle's Sonate (1808).
