Day 12 | Recorder31
Today we're delighted to share three performances by Eliza Haskins. The first two are live performances from ORDA 2019 where Eliza won 1st prize in her category.
The final video is one that Eliza made during lockdown last year with percussionist Toril Azzalini-Machecler and is a fusion of folk and jazz.

About Eliza Haskins
Eliza lives in Devon and began learning the recorder at the age of eight. Following lessons in primary school, she decided to pursue her musical interests and was awarded a place at The Purcell School of Music at the age of nine. In 2018, she started attending Wells Cathedral School under the tuition of Tabea Debus. She plays the piano and the flute and was part of the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain in 2018. Last year Eliza was a BBC Young Musician woodwind category finalist for the second time, having reached the same stage in 2018. Eliza is currently studying for her A levels and is about to enter her final year at school. In her spare time she enjoys arranging all kinds of music for the recorder to show off its versatility, including her collaboration with percussionist Toril Azzalini-Machecler who she met through BBC Young Musician. When not doing music, she likes relaxing at home with her family and her dogs.
