10 Course Renaissance Lute after Tieffenbrucker by Matias Crom

Inspired on the lute by Wendelin Tieffenbrucker in the "Cite de la Musique" museum in Paris. This maker was the "Stradivari" of lute making and this model is maybe the most iconic of lutes in present time. The original string length of 65cm makes a great 10 course lute. The neck and nut sizes were changed from the original 14 course lute to accommodate 10 courses. The bowl has 9 ribs of made either Maple and Pearwood with Ebony spacers. The top is made from the finest Austrian high mountain spruce with the original carved rose design. Neck core is also spruce veneered with maple with an ebony fingerboar.
