Following the success of the 2018 London Festival of Early Music in it's new location at Blackheath The Early Music Shop is delighted to announce the dates for the 2019 London International Festival of Early Music which will again take place at Blackheath Halls and surrounding venues. Complimenting the UK's largest Early Music exhibition, we have an exciting line-up of concerts, workshops, recitals, and the finals of the Moeck/Society of Recorder Players International Solo Recorder Competition.

Blackheath Halls is a beautiful listed building, built in 1895 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and provides a regular base for large scale student rehearsals and performances, including the annual Trinity Laban opera. It is located just a mile away from the Old Royal Naval College site in nearby Greenwich village, easily accessible by mainline trains or by car. Blackheath village also boasts a wealth of fine restaurants, bars and shops. Fringe events, maker's demonstration recitals, workshops, competitions and formal evening concerts will take place at nearby churches All Saints and St Michael and All Angels, both within a few minutes walking distance from Blackheath Halls.
Accommodation: The Clarendon Hotel in Blackheath is ideally situated for all the London International Festival of Early Music events and has a limited number of rooms reserved for visitors from Wednesday 6 November - Saturday 9 November.
