This unique French Double Manual Harpsichord after Goermans-Taskin, built in 2023, was specially commissioned for renowned harpsichordist Jane Chapman's recital at the London International Festival of Early Music in November 2023. Jane's recital included works by Bach, Rameau, Handel, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Louis Couperin, Froberger, Frescobaldi, Royer and Purcell, as well as the world première of Tears, no more by Roxanna Panufnik.

The original instruments upon which Bizzi has based his studies are amongst the most important known harpsichords. The Goermans-Taskin was originally a Flemish harpsichord that Taskin transformed (ravalement) into a great French instrument. Its bright and sonorous voice makes it particularly suitable for a wide repertoire and for large concert halls.
