This tenor is made of cherrywood which has clear, elegant soundnotes. The recorder is in baroque fingering and has a wide bore. This is a keyless recorder and its undercut finger holes make it very ergonomic, especially for the right-hand, making the stretch to the low C much easier.

Küng's Studio series has proven to be popular with all levels of players providing a high quality instrument at a reasonable price. They have a full sound, balanced tone, and a good, easy response in all registers. Their clear, warm sound is well-suited for ensemble playing.

This Studio tenor comes complete with canvas bag, cleaning rod, fingering chart and maintenance instructions.

Lovely tenor recorder

I’d never played a tenor recorder before, so did some research into the various models available and ended up choosing this one. I wanted an instrument that is keyless yet easy to play, and this seemed to fit the bill. I’m delighted with my purchase. This recorder has a lovely tone and speaks easily right across the range. Highly recommended! Also, thank you to the EMS for their wonderful Approval scheme that allowed me to try the recorder before committing to buy.

I bought one of these in 2019 from the EMS in Yorkshire. We tried a great number of tenors and this stood out as having the best intonation and evenness of sound, as well as fitting really easily in the hands. The tone and volume are not lacking by comparison to longer, keyed instruments. I should add it's much more beautiful to look at than this item photo suggests. The bonus was that this instrument was so much better even than more expensive recorders, we ended up with £200 to spend in the used instrument section! Highly recommended.
