Violoncello after "Ornati" by Matias Crom (Previously Owned) made from the finest Slovakian spruce and maple from Romania. Wittner tailpiece and ebony tuning pegs. Supplied with refurbished German bow and new Early Music Shop cello case.

A few word from Matias Crom
"Santa Cecilia" violoncello by Matias Crom. Made in the italian tradition with the finest Slovakian spruce and maple. Matias is known for his lutes and viols but he also studied luthiery from violin makers of the Cremona School. This instrument was made for a contest and was his exhibition instrument from 2019 to 2022 when he finally left it at the EMS after the London International Early Music Festival November 2022.
It is as he says "as good as i can make". Inspired on an Giuseppe Ornati (1887 – 1965) model. Tailpice is Wittner, fibercarbon with 4 microtuners. This is modern instrument made by a baroque specialist. This cello is easy to play and the sound amazing in all register. It is virtually brand new, in excellent condition and is being sold on behalf of the maker. Tailpice is Wittner, fibercarbon with 4 microtuners.
Comes with an used fiberglass flight case and a very good German made antique bow well restored and refurbished."
