Baroque Guitar after Marianita by Matias Crom

The "Marianita" is a 5 course baroque guitar inspired on the "Vihuela de Quito" with a playing string length of 68cm. The top is made from the finest mountain Austrian Spruce with the original purfling decoration and rose design. This simple yet elegant rose makes this guitar very resonant. Sides are made in 5 pieces using walnut and cypress and the back is coopered as many were from this period and made with 15 ribs of cypress with thin walnut spacers. The neck is carved from pearwood just like the original.
