Fast turnaround fom ordering to arrival. Great product. I swapped out a gut string for a Nylgut of the same diameter. And I'm glad that I did. I much prefer the playability of this string. Thanks to all at EMS as always!

The people at the EMS in Saltaire share their customers' passion for the music. I moved away from Yorkshire over five years ago, but an instantly recognised in the friendliest manner when I phone from Devon with an order for a few lute strings. My first purchase from them was way back in January 1978, when their shop was on Sunbridge Road, Bradford: two books of lute tablature; a few months later, it was Harwood & Isaacs Lute Kit... For the last ten years of so, they have engaged Jacob Heringman to give lessons to lutenists of all abilities. What is not to love about the EMS? They are an integral part of the Early Music movement (?)
