At an incredibly difficult time for many people, the safety and health of our staff and customers is of paramount importance to The Early Music Shop.
Information is changing rapidly, and as a result we will ensure that this page is kept up to date with the latest information regarding Covid-19 and its impact on our business.
Our stores & warehouse
We have been following closely the recommendations of the UK Government and the World Health Organisation. As of Tuesday 24 March, we have closed both our Saltaire and London stores. However, we will continue to operate our website and distribution centre for as long as we are able to do so.
We are now offering free standard UK delivery on all orders over the value of £50, so you can shop online across our entire range from the comfort of your own home.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I place an order online?
Yes, we will continue to serve customers online.
2. Will delivery times be affected?
All orders are being processed, and these will be dispatched on a regular basis. We are a small business and, alongside many others, the restrictions caused by Covid-19 mean that we have some staff working from home, and some self-isolating, based on Government advice. As a result, our delivery times may take slightly longer than usual, and we hope you will bear with us during this time.
3. Is it safe to receive orders?
Our drivers have been advised to reduce contact with customers, and can place packages at the customer’s doorstep or at a place to be agreed. If you have specific delivery requirements, then please let us know at the time of placing your order.
4. Are Early Music Shops still open?
No. We have closed both our Saltaire and London shops until further notice. However, our online shop is open and receiving & dispatching orders.
5. How can I contact you?
You can contact us by phone on either 020 7062 9000 or 01274 288100, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or through our social media accounts direct messaging services. We will respond to your query as soon as possible, but please do bear with us during what is a period of re-adjustment and transition for all of our staff.
This is a challenging and unprecedented time for everybody, and we are working hard to continue to provide a service, while being mindful of people’s health and wellbeing. We also wish our fellow retailers all the very best at this difficult time.
