Medieval Music in the Dales 2020
Bolton Castle, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 4ET
11 - 13 September 2020

Now in its fourth year, Medieval Music in the Dales is fast establishing itself as a unique forum for the best in medieval early music. This year, the festival goes back to the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, as we are theming the festival around the life of William Marshal – often called England’s greatest knight – who died exactly 800 years ago. William’s life story is like something from an epic romance. Born relatively obscure he rose to become Regent of England and, as a close associate of four Plantagenet kings, William was also at the heart of a very rich musical scene.

Anthony will be travelling to Bolton Castle with a wide selection of harps, lutes, symphonies, lyres, percussion and a selection of recorders.

For specific requests please Email: Anthony or Tel: 01274 288100
